Return to Travel

We will operate our first tour departures in the United States starting in July. Our groups will once again explore Alaska, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and the Canyonlands of the Southwest. For August, we are planning to operate tours in several international destinations which are welcoming Americans without quarantine requirements. We anticipate that as of September we will operate many of our tours around the world in accordance with each country‚Äôs requirements.

We believe that vaccinations remain paramount for the safe resumption of tours. We have seen countries like Iceland and Israel announce phased border openings with proof of vaccination. And just last week the domestic cruise industry announced that they plan to resume sailings with vaccinated passengers embarking from US ports as early as July. We continue to follow encouraging news from the European Union, and throughout the world, about how and when individual country borders will reopen and what entry requirements our travelers will need to follow. These ongoing positive developments have reinforced our confidence that much of the world will be open for travel in September.

When tours begin again, there will be necessary changes for the safety and health of our passengers, staff and the communities we visit. As we re-start, we require all travelers complete a health declaration form and attest they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This requirement will remain in place until guidance changes from health organizations and governments. Travelers who cannot comply with the vaccination requirement because of age or medical condition, must receive a negative test prior to joining their tour, if the government(s) for the destinations on the itinerary allow it. Additional requirements may exist based on your itinerary and enforced by other entities such as airlines, government agencies, etc. Travelers will also need to follow federal and local mask mandates, social distancing, and other guidelines while traveling. Our tour managers and bus drivers will adhere to a stringent sanitation protocol throughout the tour. Please do not call to ask about requirements for your specific itinerary. Information changes frequently, therefore booked travelers will receive updates with specific requirements for your destination prior to your final payment due date.
