First and foremost, I would like to thank Gate 1 for another amazing trip. This isn't my first trip with Gate 1, so I am confident that my trip would be nothing more than what I expected. The accommodations as well as the hotel was above my expectations. The staff was friendly and the facilities was up to par if not more than what envisioned. The one thing I wanted to comment about is our tour manager- Waleed. Waleed went above and beyond to make sure that this was the best experience that my friend Heidy and I could ever experience in Jordan. Waleed was knowledgeable, accommodating and went out of his way to make sure that we felt safe and secure on the trip. He answered our questions the best he could, and made sure that we absorbed and experienced as much of Jordan that time would allow. Not only did he provide us with attention and support during the tour, he made it clear that he was always available to us any time of the day by providing his number and made it clear that we shouldn't hesitate to message him if we had any issues. The ride back to the airport was seamless. We got home safe knowing that we had the best experience ever. I would recommend Gate 1, Jordan and our tour manager Waleed without hesitation to any of my friends or family. Without doubt, I will be traveling with Gate 1 in the future.

My recent trip to Jordan was outstanding in every way. Our group was small (6) and we all got along extremely well. Ali, our guide was extraordinary. His love and pride for his country and efforts to get us to see Jordan as he sees it, was tremendous. He worked so hard to get us to see everything that we could, telling us the history, pertinent facts about what we were seeing and little details, we would have missed but for him. He helped us feel comfortable in every way. His choice of restaurants allowed us the opportunity to sample local food and the stories behind the food. Hi genuine care for each of us was amazing. He and Mohammed, our driver, were there for us at all times. Their friendliness and support were felt continuously throughout the trip. The country was beautiful. Petra and Jerash were unbelievable and beyond my wildest imagination and the pictures I had seen do not do them justice. They were spectacular in every way. This was an amazing trip that I will remember forever. Every stop had a purpose and Ali's descriptions told us all we needed to know. He allowed us time to wander around, shop and enjoy the local culture. it was truly magnificent. Thank you Gate 1 for another outstanding trip and for employing guides who are world-class. Reasons for considering Ali, the best Tour Manager I have been working with during all my 25 previous trips with Gate 1 from 2004 to 2022 1. He is highly knowledgeable about Jordan's economic, political, and social history, including confrontations, warfare, and battles before and after Christ. 2. He is an empathetic inspirational speaker able to maintain the travelers' attention. 3. He is always ready to go the extra mile in helping travelers experiencing physical limitations, encouraging them to go up a hill in a desert, and helping them if it were necessary. 4. I am an 81-year-old man. He helped me go to the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum Desert, Jerash, and Amman's museums, the Citadel, the amphitheaters with their echoes, and so on. 5. His human relations are outstanding. In my personal case, I had the impression that he was part of my family. 6. He made the activity so interesting that there was not a single moment of boredom. 7. I worked as a professor for 54 years in Cuba, Mexico, and the United States. I have taught more than 10,000 students. He was so good that I learned from him how to keep listeners interested in the topics he was talking about. 8. He also added knowledge about the Jordan government, emphasized important religious places, and created a place to remember in a holistic way. Consequently, he is the best tour manager I have ever met. Congratulations to Ali. In this recommendation I would also like to add Mr. Waj Di, the driver, who also did noteworthy work as an expert chauffeur, always keeping the travelers safe.

Everything about this trip was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Hazim is the best of the best tour guides. Despite a couple of travelers who stood out as individuals instead of part of a group, Hazim went above and beyond to accommodate. The depth of his knowledge, his sense of humor, and his constant availability made this trip so wonderful! One of the things that stood out was the way Hazim handled people at every level. He always gave respect and attention to everyone we encountered. We enjoyed having plenty of time at all locations and the pace of this trip. I would encourage anyone who is considering this trip to sign up now! Also, the food was amazing - I had no idea how healthy and delicious the meals would be, especially the Lebanese restaurant at the Kempinsky!

The trip was outstanding. The guide Omar was excellent and very informative and helpful, as well as entertaining. The tour exceeded my expectations and needless to say I had a great trip. The hotels and restaurants were all great. The Gate 1 personnel was extremely helpful and efficient at the airport. I will use Gate 1 again.

This was my 13th trip with Gate 1 travel, however this trip turned out to be the most informative and exceptional of all. Our guide, Waleed has so much knowledge of history that he was able to share with us and was eager to answer all questions. He kept the group engaged and involved at all levels. The restaurant and hotel selections were very good and his suggestions for restaurants and meals on our own were also superb. He also gave a briefing about Discovery Tours by Gate 1 and has aroused my interest in future plan for the discovery tour for stargazing in Wadi Rum. All and all it was great tour and I would highly recommend it to everyone interested in unique experience of floating in the Dead Sea, exploring the amazing Petra and orange sand of Wadi Rum.

We had a truly wonderful trip to Israel and Jordan. I especially wish to commend our tour guides Henry in Israel and Hazim in Jordan. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful to all in our party. We normally travel independently, planning our own itinerary, but in this case we were reluctant to travel to these two countries without experienced guides. We are very happy we traveled with Gate 1.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Jordan. It was well paced, informative and exciting. Our guide Hazim and bus driver Mohammed were the best. The food and hotels and bus were top notch and I can't wait for my next trip with Gate 1 in May.

I wasn't sure what to expect and honestly was a little nervous to go to that part of the world. But I was pleasantly mistaken! This trip to Jordan was wonderful and such an eye-opening experience. The country is beautiful, safe and full of history. Our tour guide was exceptional! He knew so much and was a lot of fun! I'm grateful that Gate 1 created this tour and did it completely in Jordan (instead of a combo with another country). It really gives the traveler time to fully enjoy and appreciate Jordan. Yet another great trip with Gate 1! :)

The trip was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dubai and Abu Dhabi were very nice and the Guide was extremely positive and enthusiastic. I loved Jordan, the Guide was witty and interesting, the hotels were all impressive, the service was impeccable at all three Marriotts, though Amman and the Dead Sea were especially good and I loved the historical and biblical aspects of Jordan. As has been my experience, Gate 1 came through in flying colors.

We had a wonderful experience in both Israel and Jordan. Our tour managers, Anat in Israel and Omar in Jordan are extremely knowledgeable. It was a spiritual and educational experience that we will never forget. Our tour managers gave us a thorough historical, cultural and geo political understanding of their countries. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. Our buses were also clean and comfortable. Our bus drivers were very polite and helpful when getting on and off the bus.

Our trip was wonderful. Both tour guides (Adina in Israel and Faddy in Jordan) were great. Listening to Adina was enjoyable, she's a great story teller, full of knowledge. Faddy had a great sense of humor, lot's of knowledge. Both made our trip special. We've traveled with Gate 1 three times now and never had any problems. We would recommend Gate 1 to anyone.

We had a wonderful time and two great guides. Loved the Marriotts in Jordan. We especially enjoyed Jordan; so much to see that we didn’t realize how much there was beyond Petra. Our guide, Hamiz, was our all-time favorite; he was so knowledgeable and demonstrated a real love and compassion for his country. All the Jordanians we met were so welcoming. We’ve never been thanked so many times for visiting a country.

We had a wonderful time. Omar, our tour guide, was terrific! He has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history and way of life in Jordan. We had made our flight arrangements separately and one of the return flights was cancelled 2 days before the end of the tour. We really enjoyed our trip in Jordan. It was very interesting, eye opening and enlightening. The itinerary was well planned and organized. The tour director, Hazim, was very professional, knowledgeable and entertaining. Also every step of the way after landing and at departing we had been taken care of. We are (relatively) seasoned travelers and were really impressed with Gate 1. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending Gate 1 to others and we look forward to join some other Gate 1 tours in the future. My trip was so amazing. I was able to take some of the most amazing pictures while on my trip which is what I wanted to do. Hazim, our tour guide, was just so gracious and kind. He answered all our questions and clearly has such a love for his country and for its history. He is truly an asset to your company.

Oh, boy - where to start? It was great! Parts were beyond great. Although modern-day Jordan would not be on everybody's top-ten list, for a history buff and for someone who likes really remote places, this trip is fascinating. And yes I'm a history buff and yes I like really remote places. Ancient highways, ancient caravan routes, Crusader castles, Old Testament, Roman ruins, Lawrence of Arabia --- and Petra! Wow. As we've come to expect from Gate 1, this trip was reasonable priced and very well-organized. We were met at the airport on our arrival, and taken care of until the Gate 1 rep put us back onto the plane for home. The accommodations were great (you gonna complain about the Marriott?). The bus was clean, comfortable and spacious. Each day's tour was different and interesting, with no single day being too long or overwhelming. But finally, and most importantly, was your excellent choice of a local tour guide. Hazim was just about everything you want in a guide. He was friendly, articulate, funny, and accommodating. His depth of knowledge of the history, places, cultures, and current events was professorial. Plus, he's just a plain old nice guy. He interfaced with everyone, was informative yet diplomatic about the politics of the region, and handled individual questions and requests with ease. Gate 1's choice of local guides is a single most important reason we come back for more.

My trip was fantastic! I had no idea of what to expect and I must admit that I was nervous about going to Jordan. I am so glad I went, though. What an amazing and fascinating country Jordan is for so many reasons. Our guide was fantastic and the hotels were excellent. And there are no words to describe how incredible it is to wander around Petra and Wadi Rum.

Our Jordan adventure was outstanding. It is a stable country that has good relations with its volatile neighbors. The trip itself was very rewarding. We had a great guide in Hazim. The hotels were excellent with bountiful breakfasts. The sights were all worth seeing whether they were Greek, Roman, Byzantine or Biblical. Of course the highlight was Petra. It is beyond description. So, yes, our Gate 1 trip was a memorable journey to a fascinating place that is well worth visiting.

My Jordan trip was great. Great group for 42 of us and great guide. He is the first guide to daily go to the back of the bus to talk and answer any questions. Hamiz has his heart and soul into being the best tour guide. And our driver was great too. People came up to me in Jordan to thank me for visiting their country. The country was very safe. In Amman there was a police presence everywhere. I was able to walk alone anywhere safely even after dark. The kings Highway had police checkpoints. Drivers respected the laws and drove the same as here in the USA. I recommend this trip to anyone and do not listen to the fears here in this country.
